Daniel O.'s Birthday!

Happy 6th Birthday to Daniel! Daniel's parents came and joined in the birthday celebration. We baked a cake, sang Happy Birthday, gave tzedakah and the class had the opportunity to each give Daniel a special birthday wish. What a fun day!

Literacy Fun Day!

To close Literacy Month we had Literacy Fun Day! The children brought in their pajamas, blankets and pillows and read bedtime stories and discussed the importance of having a bedtime routine. We also talked about the importance of reading every day. Some of the children even brought in some of their favorite books for Morah Dawn to read. After snuggling with a few good books, we had the opportunity to sing songs and color pictures. We had such a nice time! This month has taught us how important reading is and how much fun it could be. Thank you to the parents that came to read to our class! We truly enjoyed your visit!

Literacy Month Comes to an End

Manuella's mommy came to read to our class! She read one of Manuella's favorite books, Snow White! After reading the book, the children were given an illustration from the book to color. What an exciting day!

Nina's Daddy came to visit and read the class 2 books, Ziggy's Fine Coat and Leo the Late Bloomer. The books each had a very important lesson to be learned. The children had the opportunity to talk about it with each other. We love having our Mommy's and Daddy's come read to us!

HAT DAY!

We had a special silly hat day in honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar Beis. Friends came with all sorts of different and interesting hats. We all got a chance to show them to the rest of the school at our monthly rally!

Birthday presents

In honor of Daniel O's birthday, he donated two books to our beautiful library. Thank you so much Daniel! We really appreciate you'r thoughtfulness!
