The Mitzva of Tzeddaka!

We love doing Mitzvos in kindergarten. One of our favorite is the Mitzva of Tzeddaka (charity)! We have read many books about the concept of giving Tzeddaka and sharing what we have with people who aren't as lucky as us. Every day, before we daven to Hashem and ask him for blessings for the coming day, we make sure to think about other people and their needs by giving Tzeddaka.

Today, we made our very own custom Tzeddaka boxes to take home! We had so much fun coloring with the special mini crayons. We also learned how to mix certain colors to make new ones. For example, red and blue makes purple.

Please use these Tzeddaka boxes in your home. In the next week, we will be deciding which charity we would like to give the money to. Keep yourself informed by checking the blog again at the end of the week.
