Alisa's mother came to visit our class for health month! Mrs. Gleyzer is an acupuncturist. She came to talk about her profession and demonstrate some of her equipment. She showed a poster of the human body and explained to the children how acupuncture works through points in our body. The children were even taught where their pressure point is in their hands. Mrs. Gleyzer also showed us a book about acupuncture and explained that it was written by her teacher.
The children had the opportunity to ask any questions they had and before leaving, Alisa's mother left a healthy snack of berries for the children! Thank you!
